In full auto mode, MSSQL Recovery automatically locates, previews, recovers and repairs MS SQL databases without any user participation. In semi-auto mode you will additionally be able to modify table structures before the recovery, and lastly, manual mode allows proficient database administrators to modify or re-create database structures with just fragments of the original database available.

Visual Preview

MSSQL Recovery supports full pre-recovery preview, displaying all data types except TypedXML and TimeStamp. For pictures, text and office document data types blob preview is available.

ADO Export and Advanced Features

MSSQL Recovery can recover up to 2 GB of data per field for most data types including varchar(max), nvarchar(max), varbinary(max), text, ntext , image, and xml. Recovery supports ADO export when a connection to a working MS SQL server is available. Additionally, data can be exported data into MySQL MyISAM/InnoDB formats.

Unicode Support and Compatibility

All national and Unicode character tables are fully supported in MSSQL; when exporting data all-Unicode strings are provided. Together with database recovery, the tool can be used for upgrading functioning MS SQL databases to Unicode. Databases produced by MS SQL Server 2008, 2008 x64, 2008 Express, 2005, 2005 x64, 2005 Express, 2000, and 2000 x64 are supported.
